Compressing folders in Terminal, excluding .DS_Store files

Save to your folder(s)
If you need to zip a directory named folderName and ignore all .DS_Store files, then do the following:

Expand | Embed | Plain Text

Copy this code and paste it in your HTML 
  1. zip -r newArchiveName.zip folderName -x "*.DS_Store"
